Jack Kiley was born and raised in Shelbyville, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign followed by an internship with the Chicago Blackhawks. While in Chicago, Jack attended DePaul University College of Law before being hired as an associate at Erickson, Davis, Murphy, Johnson & Walsh in 2007. The firm became Kiley Klein Ltd. in March 2023.
Jack became a shareholder in 2010. His practice is primarily dedicated to representing parties in civil disputes involving personal injury, nursing home litigation, property damage, premises and products liability, and labor and employment disputes. He also dedicates a significant amount of his practice to counseling individuals, businesses, and local governmental bodies in various legal areas.
Jack has obtained winning jury trial verdicts in both state and federal courts on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. Likewise, he has successfully argued for plaintiffs and defendants in several districts in the state court of appeals and in federal court before the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Jack is eager to try cases but understands for any variety of factors, seeking an agreed resolution might be a client's preferred outcome. With that in mind, Jack has obtained desired outcomes for clients participating in dozens of mediations often involving wrongful death or serious injury claims.
Jack was formerly a member of the Illinois State Bar Association Assembly and a former director of the Decatur Bar Association. He remains involved as a member of the Decatur Bar Association, the Shelby County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
Jack is also a trained mediator eager to assist in resolving civil disputes.

Jack is married with two children and also is a director and president of Lithia Springs Marina on Lake Shelbyville. He and his wife, Sarah, are also the proud owners of gK9 Wine & Spirits in downtown Decatur. Through that business, Jack was honored as the Decatur Regional Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year in 2023.
