Jack Kiley successfully defended an excavating contractor accused of causing over $50,000 in damage in the City of Granite City in a November 2024 bench trial.  The Court determined the plaintiff, the City of Granite City, had not met its burden in proving that Kiley's client negligently performed work leading to the City's claimed damages.  Prior to trial, Kiley was also successful in having the City's expert engineer barred as a witness.
